Sunshine's Boxing, Muay Thai, and Fitness

10/10 I love this gym like home, a true safe place. Coaches Sunshine and Daniela adapt their teaching to any skill level. They bring all the tools you’ll need to grow. The discipline and mentorship here brought me peace of mind when I needed it. Strong friends can make life more joyful.

I wish I could give Sunshine’s five stars. The staff here is very knowledgeable and takes their competitions seriously. Sunshine was always willing to work with me to set me up for success. She is blunt, but I appreciate her honesty. One instructor in particular though, Daniela, was oddly rude. She would ask me why I didn’t know how to throw a punch and walk away without demonstrating how she wanted me to throw it, and when I approached her about technique and was listening to her explanation, she questioned why I was standing there staring at her instead of looking for a partner. I’m not sure why her attitude was so poor. Maybe she was just having a bad month. But this was certainly not the professionalism that I would expect in a Beginner’s class. Very unfortunate. I suggest staying away from her, as I did.
