Alpha8 Thai Boxing

Greetings to all that will read this review. I am mom and my beautiful daughter age 9 as well as I , we have been attending Alpha8 Thai since December 2022. I cannot be more grateful that Alpha8 exists and that it brought so much happiness to me, and to my daughter and definitely my hubby , who always comments how grateful he is that I take my energy out on a bag and not him.🤣 Allow me to offer you a short description on what made us part of this superb family called Alpha 8. For skeptics, like I was , this is what I will share. There is no contract that forces you to pay for a year and you cannot cancel even if you lose your job, no such thing. All of you out there know what I am referring to. For a month fee you can go as many times as you wish and it’s 1 hr per class. All other classes we tried , they wanted to lock us in a contract and the duration was 30min if lucky. Alpha8 has kids classes and adults. My baby goes first and then me. It’s a win win for all of us. The things the coach teaches are fantastic. Your entire body is in motion, disciplined sport but peppered with word of the month for heart growth, games at the end of class and lots of friendships and camaraderie. No matter what walks of life you are coming from, you are welcome. I am from Europe and I have never been so kindly received like in this place. If you take anything out of this review, take this: Family - this is what you get by coming to Alpha8. I cannot believe the great humans I had the pleasure of bonding with: Kru Vincent ( it’s funny you guys cause before joining this club I did not even know how to spell Kru ,a high valued title in Muay Thai, I was so silly communicating with Vincent, but he was beyond patient and silly back ) . Kru V is an exceptional human, and no ,he did not pay me to say this, he does not even know I am writing this review , anyhow I doubt you will ever come across such a heart like his, and I know what I am talking about because I lived on two continents and I am one of those travelers that meet people. He cares about every single one of the kiddos and the grownups, he spends time with each and offer attention to each, making all simply feel special, unique in his presence. He takes times to listen and to share a joke no matter what.His skills are out of this world. Remarkable person. Pretty hip for his age. ( this last comment will cost me some extra work I am sure when I go back on Tuesday 🤣🤣🤣) Coach Jennie, she is the kids coach. Wow. She is a beautiful woman, in and out . She fights in national fights, the knowledge she brings to the kiddos is enormous. I am in awe of her determination and I personally learn from her all the time. Yep, totally afraid of her, she can kick my behind just by looking at me, but wow , when I have a chance to train with her, I feel I accomplished the most successful task of the day. I am drained and happy and I cannot move, but my smile never stops.She is impressive. By the way the kids have several coaches so they help at all levels, Noah is young and cool, Karen is so supportive and fun, and my dear friend Tina ( I know she is my friend that I made in class so of course I will only, forever speak highly of her😉) Tina is a wild fire, a wonderful fighter that won fights and a delight of a friend that will give you advice at any time of day and night, simply because she cares. Lovely readers I can go on and on and on about how impressed I am with Alpha8 ,what a positive change learning this sport brought to me and my daughter, I can go on and on describing how good it feels to be in a place where values of fellowship are still upheld but I will stop here and urge you to check on your own. I have been training with Coach V for the past 7 years. I have grown as an athlete, Muay Thai practitioner, and have realized all my health/fitness goals. I am in the best shape of my life! Three years ago, he worked with me on my plan to be able to compete in the TBA tournament in Des Moines, IA. This is a goal I had when I started Muay Thai approximately 11 years ago. He helped me dial in my nutrition and training to ensure I could compete at my best. I came in at weight AND my conditioning was superb! Many thanks to Coach V for all his patience while pushing me to reach my maximum potential and realize a long awaited goal to compete in that tournament.
